Goldeneye Transverse: Significantly higher yield at Binder
With an annual softwood lumber production output of around 5 million m³, Binderholz is one of the largest timber groups in the world. The Tyrolean group operates over 60 production sites worldwide. One of them is located in Kösching, Upper Bavaria. For two and a half years now, a MiCROTEC Goldeneye 900 lumber scanner with downstream strength grading has been used there – the first such combination in the group. The success of this concept is demonstrated by the expansion to other Binderholz sites.
